CHANEL & SPENCER 

In 2013, Spencer moved to San Diego to study engineering at SDSU. All his engineering friends said he was so funny and cool, and suggested he try out for the college improv team, Iota Eta Pi. Loving this new outlet, he sought out a second team at a local theater--the same theater Chanel had been a part of for a year. The two first met when Spencer tried sneaking in 2 of his friends for free when she was working the door. This got Chanel in trouble with management and almost cost Spencer a spot on the team. Nevertheless he persisted and luckily was able to join the theater. However, soon after joining, Spencer left to study abroad in Italy and told no one. Chanel thought he had quit the team and she was never going to see him again. They didn’t reconnect until Chanel invited the theater to a Halloween hayride and Spencer reached out directly (which is who she secretly wanted to invite). He claimed that he loved all things Halloween and was totally not going to be scared of “nerds wearing rubber costumes” (this was a ruse and was in fact quite scared). The two remained as just close friends in the following months. Spencer finally made his feelings for her clear the day before she moved to Anaheim for an internship with Disney. Starting their relationship out long distance proved to have its challenges but it was that initial challenge that determined throughout their relationship they could endure every obstacle that has been thrown their way with a strong friendship at its core. Chanel and Spencer have been together since February 28th 2015 and have long awaited this moment where they could finally be united as one.
